Replacing the backup battery
Depending on environmental conditions (temperature, operating time), the battery of
the mainboard must be replaced after 4 to 8 years.
WARNING
Danger to life caused by exploding battery!
There is the risk of an explosion if the battery is replaced improperly.
Replace only with a battery of the same or equal type as recommended by the
manufacturer.
Use only non-conductive tools.

To avoid damages to the product, never use a screwdriver or any other
conductive material to remove the battery.
Always use a CR 2032 battery.

Open the device,

Remove the battery from the socket (1).

Insert the new battery with the „+“-sign on top.

After changing the battery, you have to set the date and time
and the user settings of the product in the BIOS again.
