Appendix:
The check-valve of the connecting piece is leak tested with the Leaktester
D1118 829. The moistened check valve is tested in following procedure:
−
Fill a little bit of water into the connecting piece and shake off excess of water.
−
Fix the connecting piece vertically (check valve on bottom) and connect leak-
tester with adapter D1118 023 bottom side of connecting piece (see scheme).
−
Press the bellows of leaktester behind pressure gauge until 7 mbar pressure are
built up.
−
Close cock and observe pressure drop.
The check valve is tight, if the pressure drop in one minute is not more than 1 mbar.
