Insert Mouthpiece
Place mouthpiece into mouth
with flange of mouthpiece be-
tween teeth and lips. Bite down
on the two lugs. Inflate breath-
ing bag with exhalation air.

Fit Nose clip
Grasp both ends
of rubber pads,
pull nose clip
apart, done nose
clip.
Make sure that mouthpiece and nose clip fit tight during inhalation and exhala-
tion since with the emergency apparatus the exhalation air after being regen-
erated is again required for inhalation.
