2) CONSTANT DRAINAGE (ONLY FOR THE DEHUMIDIFYING MODE)
- remove the plug (10)
- insert the drain hose into the water outlet (the drain hose is not
included with the MPM-12-KPO-10 product)
- connect the other end of the drain hose to the drainage system
or a dish (Fig. 8)
CAUTION! The dish or the drainage system must be located below the outlet (10).
Do not dispose of the rubber plug.
CLEANING, MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
CAUTION! Before cleaning and maintenance, unplug the appliance from the
mains outlet and wait until it has completely cooled down. Never immerse the appliance in water!

Clean the housing with a damp cloth and then wipe it dry. Use a gentle detergent to remove
persistent grime. Do not use aggressive chemicals such as benzene, alcohol, gasoline, etc.
(risk of damage to the housing or the entire appliance).

Clean the rear (12) and the side (11) air filters according to the fol-
lowing instructions (Fig. 8):
- remove the rear air inlet grille (9) by pulling the handles on its
sides (Fig. 9)
- remove the filter (12) from the inner part of the grille (9). The filter
is attached with 12 latches. Be careful not to break the filter when
removing it
- pull the handles and remove the side air filters (11) from the
appliance (Fig. 10)
- wash filters (11) and (12) in lukewarm water (max. 40 °C) with a
mild detergent, then rinse them and dry thoroughly
- mount the filters back in place, put the grille back on (9)
- clean the filters every 2 weeks or more often if the air conditioner’s
efficiency drops
CAUTION! The filters must be completely dry before you put them back in the
appliance. Do not start the appliance if the filters are not mounted.

Use the handles (5) when moving the appliance.

The remote control requires two 1.5 V AAA batteries to work. Ac-
cess the batteries by opening the battery compartment on the
bottom side of the remote control. Mind the correct polarity and
fit when changing the batteries. Do not mix different types of bat-
teries and/or spent batteries with new batteries.
CAUTION! Do not dispose of spent batteries with household waste. Dispose of
spent batteries at designated battery collection points or return them to the
seller. Never throw batteries into fire!

After the summer season, prepare the appliance for storage in winter according to the fol-
lowing recommendations:
