OPERATING THE AIR CONDITIONER
1.
Connect the properly assembled appliance to the mains with an earthing
pin. The connection will be signalled by a beep. The LED display (3j) will
show the temperature in the room.
2.
Switch on the appliance with the POWER button (3a) – the appliance will
start in the fan mode, which is signalled by the “Fan” indicator light. You can
select one of the three available speeds using the airflow speed selection
button SPEED (3c), which is signalled by the appropriate airflow speed indi-
cator light (3h).
3.
To activate the cooling function, press and hold the MODE selection button (3a) until the
“Cool” indicator light (3g) comes on. Set the desired room temperature using the up and
down buttons (3d). The temperature range is between 16°C (60°F) and 30°C (86°F) with a 1°
increment. From this moment on, the LED display will show the set temperature. If you set
a temperature higher than the current room temperature, the air conditioner will stop the
cooling process and only the fan will keep working. The compressor of the working air condi-
tioner will switch on and off, which is normal during correct operation. You can additionally
adjust the airflow speed (see section 2).
CAUTION! The air conditioner has a compressor protection feature which, depending on a number of factors,
allows it to be switched on or off with a short time delay (3 minutes).
4.
The appliance has a dehumidifying function. To activate the dehumidifying function, press
and hold the MODE selection button (3a) until the “Dry” indicator light (3g) comes on. In this
mode, the airflow speed and the temperature are adjusted automatically by the air condi-
tioner processor for the most efficient operation (it is not possible to change them).
CAUTION! When using the dehumidifying function, you must connect the drain hose to the water outlet (10)!
(see WATER DRAINAGE METHODS)
CAUTION! When using the dehumidifying function, you must remove the hot air exhaust duct from the appli-
ance (14).
CAUTION! The dehumidifying function is perfect for drying clothes, but remember to place the item at least
1.5 m away from the appliance.
5.
The delayed start/stop function allows you to select the time when the air conditioner will
turn on or off. To set a delayed stop time, press the TIMER button (3f) and then use the up and
down buttons (3d) to set the desired time which will be shown on the LED display. You can
set the time between 1 and 24 hours with a 1-hour increment. A moment after selecting the
time, the LED display will show the temperature again. Activation of this function is signalled
by the indicator light on the TIMER button (3f).
Follow the same steps to set the delayed start time when the appliance is switched off. When
setting the delayed start time, you can additionally select the mode in which the appliance
will start working with the MODE button (3e) and set the desired temperature.
6.
The appliance has an air outlet shutter oscillation function (4), which makes it possible to in-
crease the space cooled by the air conditioner. To activate the function, press the SWING but-
