SAFETY OF USE
The appliance is intended for home use only.
Read this User Manual carefully before use.
Never touch the appliance with wet hands.
Be extremely careful when children are near the appliance!
Use this appliance only as intended.
Do not immerse the appliance, the power cord or the plug in water or other
liquids.
Do not leave the appliance unattended when in use.
Always unplug the power cord from the mains outlet when the appliance is
not in use or before cleaning.
Do not use the appliance when it is damaged and/or its power cord or plug is
damaged; have an Authorised Service repair it for you.
Do not use the appliance outdoors.
Never leave the power cord hanging over sharp edges and keep it away from
hot surfaces.
The air conditioner is intended for indoor use.
The nominal operating parameters require powering the appliance with
220-240 V / 50 Hz mains.
Install the air conditioner as required by your local power company or power
network operator to ensure its safe and effective protective earthing. Should
you have any doubts about the compliance of your power mains, follow this
User Manual or have a qualified professional install the appliance.
Place the air conditioner on a level, flat and dry floor, at least 50 cm away from
other objects and walls.
With the air conditioner put in place, make sure that its power cord plug is
undamaged and plugged in well to the mains outlet. Check the position of the
power cord to prevent tripping or pulling out the plug.
Do not put anything into the air inlet and outlet of the air conditioner. Keep the
air inlet and outlet clear and unobstructed.
If you need to install a hot air exhaust duct, make sure its connections are tight
and that the duct is not kinked.
Keep the air conditioner upright when moving it.
Keep the air conditioner safely away from gasoline, flammable gases, stoves,
kitchen hobs and ovens, and other sources of heat.
Do not attempt to open, disassemble or alter the air conditioner without au-
thorization; otherwise the appliance may fail or cause injury and/or damage.
