SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read carefully this manual before using the appliance.
Close supervision is necessary when using the appliance near children.
Do not use the appliance for the purposes different than it was designed for.
Do not immerse the appliance, its cord and plug in water or any other liquids.
Do not leave the appliance switched on when unattended.
Always unplug the appliance when it is not in use or before cleaning.

the appliance for repair to an authorized service centre.
Do not use the appliance outdoors.
Do not place the cord over sharp edges and keep it away from hot surfaces.
This appliance has been designed for domestic use only.
This appliance is not intended for use by individuals (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
To avoid the risk of damage, fire or injury, always use the attachments recommended by the
manufacturer.
Do not touch the appliance with wet hands.
Before cleaning the appliance, unplug it from the power outlet!
Do not place the appliance in vicinity of other electric appliances, burners,
stoves, ovens, etc.
Before use always make sure that all parts of the appliance are properly installed.
Before sharpening make sure the knives are clean.
Do not sharpen scissors, axes nor any other blades which do not fit into the sharpening slots.
NOTE: to avoid injury during sharpening, take utmost care when handling the knives
Always turn on the appliance before placing the knife into the slot; do not sharpen more than
one knife at a time.
Do not lubricate any part of the appliance with oil, water or any other lubricating/moisturizing
agent.
