PLACING CUPS IN THE ESPRESSO MACHINE
1.
Place small cups on the sliding stand (6) after it has been pulled out.
2.
Two large holes in the stand (6) and the grate (9) are located directly below the holes where
coffee in the portafilter flows out – this is an indication of how to place two small cups while
brewing a double “Espresso”.
3.
Place a large cup directly on the drip tray (9) – the stand (6) should then be slided in the de-
vice.
CAUTION! When brewing CAPPUCCINO or LATTE, make sure you have adjusted the
nozzle of the steam wand (22). You can also adjust the length of the milk dispens-
ing tube nozzle, blocking it in various length settings to adapt it to different cup
sizes (Fig. 3).
USING THE DEVICE
STARTING THE ESPRESSO MACHINE
1.
Place the device on a firm, dry, stable, flat and level surface.
2.
Connect the device to the mains.
3.
Start the espresso machine with the switch (3) – all control lights on the buttons start flashing
– the device is pre-heating. After about 45 seconds, the ESPRESSO control lights lit steadi-
ly, which denotes that the device is ready to brew ESPRESSO. After about 90 seconds, all of
the lights already lit steadily – the espresso machine is also ready to brew CAPPUCCINO and
LATTE.
4.
When done, turn off the device with the switch (3).
CAUTION! If you do not take any further action on the device within 15 minutes, it will automatically switch to
stand-by mode. Pressing any button will finish the stand-by mode.
BREWING ESPRESSO
1.
Mount the selected filter basket (13) in the portafilter (10), fill it with coffee and install it in the
espresso machine.
2.
Ensure that there is enough water in the water tank (15).
3.
Place an appropriate cup(s) and start the brewing process with the appropriate button (2a)
or (2b).
4.
The brewing process is signalled by a control light on the button used.
5.
When all of the control lights lit on again, the coffee brewing is finished.
6.
For more coffee, you can repeat the brewing process, but the coffee will be less strong.
CAUTION! If you want to brew a smaller amount of coffee, press the previously used button (2a) or (2b) (with
the desired amount).
