ATTENTION
Once the correct PIN is entered using the
AT+ CPIN
command or OnCell Configurator, the
system (firmware V1.2 or above) will activate the
Automatic PIN Entry
function. This function
will store the current PIN in its memory, and then enter the PIN automatically each time the
system boots up. If the SIM card does not match the current PIN, the
Automatic PIN Entry
function will be deactivated.
To activate the
Automatic PIN Entry
function again, use the
AT+ CPIN
command or OnCell
Configurator to enter the correct PIN.
To disable the Automatic PIN Entry, use the
AT*USEPIN=0
command. Please refer to the
OnCell G2100 Series AT Commands Set
, which can be found on the Document and Software
CD.
The following instructions show how to configure the PIN code using
Wizard
.
1.
Connect the RS-232 port of the OnCell G2100 Series modem to a host PC. On the OnCell
G2150I, make sure the RS-232 port is connected and DIP switch 1 is set to ON.

Start OnCell Configurator and select the
Create a new Configuration File from Wizard
option.
