Configuring Serial Connection and Device Name
The following instructions explain how to configure the serial communication parameters using
Configurator
.
1.
Connect the RS-232 port of the OnCell G2100 Series modem to a host PC. On the OnCell
G2150I, make sure the RS-232 port is connected and DIP switch 1 is set to
ON
.
2.
Start OnCell Configurator and select
Create a new Configuration File from Configurator
.
3.
On the Basic Setting tab, click
Modify
and configure the serial interface as necessary. Enter
the device name in the text input box.
