WINDING
Crown (6) in winding position A.
Your watch is driven by an automatic mechanical movement, which
means that when you wear the watch, it is wound by the motion
of your wrist alone. So manual winding is not normally necessary.
However, if your watch were to stop, a few clockwise turns of the
crown
(6)
would suffice to restart it. When fully wound, your watch
has a power reserve of approximately 48 hours.
To wind your watch and your alarm:
- Turn the crown
(6)
through a few to-and-fro movements
(at least 20 times).
TIME-SETTING
- Carefully pull out the crown
(6)
to position
B
.
- Turn it clockwise until the desired time is indicated, taking
into account the date change at midnight. If the hour hand
(1)
passes the 12 o’clock position, you can see whether it is indicating
midnight (the date will change) or midday (the date will not change).
- Press it back against the case to position
A
to ensure the water
resistance of the watch.
Crown (6) pulled out to position B.
