Edge Prestop
The Edge Prestop function corresponds to the edge of the pre-stop signal. This command is used
with Reference and Prestop Mark.

Input
Input X Config = 0/1
Input X Function = 10
If Input X Config = 0 is set, the command is
triggered in case of a "low" state at input X.
The status of the input can be
read in the OS Input field

Code 63 (dec)
Release: 04 31 31 02 36 33 30 03 36
Set: 04 31 31 02 36 33 31 03 37
(Unit no. 11, command in hex)
If a 1 is written at code 63, the
command is set.
Modbus
FF14 (hex)
Release: 07 06 FF 14 00 00 F9 BC
Set: 07 06 FF 14 00 01 38 7C
(Modbus address = 7, command in hex)
If a 1 is written to FF14, the
command is set.
Reference
The reference function is used to bring the drive into a defined reference position. This command is
used together with Edge Prestop and Prestop Mark.
First the Inhibit command must be set to decouple the frequency output from the input. After setting
the Reference command the frequency is started to ramp up to the end point. The parameters Ref
Ramp and Ref Speed High determine the ramp time in seconds and the end point of the ramp in Hz.
After reaching the end point, the frequency remains until the limit switch (Prestop Mark command) is
passed.
After the limit switch has been passed, the frequency is reduced to zero with the same ramp time.
(start, drive, stop)
After zeroing, the drive changes the direction and frequency ramps up to a lower end point. The
parameters Ref Ramp and Ref Speed Low determine the ramp time in seconds and end point of the
ramp in Hz.
If the limit switch is passed again, the drive stops abruptly.
The Edge Prestop parameter defines the edge. If Edge Prestop is not set, a rising edge at the limit
switch triggers starts ramping down. During backward motion, a falling edge at the limit switch triggers
the stop at low frequency.

If a 1 is written to FF10, the
command is set.
If the Output X Function parameter is set to 3, the output reflects the direction.
If the parameter Output X Function is set to 6, the output reflects the complete movement. (Frequency
