Configuring TCP/IP
All client computers on your network must be configured for
TCP/IP
(the protocol that controls communication
among computers). Perform
one
of:
•
Configuring TCP/IP in Windows 95, Windows 98, or Windows Me
•
Configuring TCP/IP in Windows 2000
•
Configuring TCP/IP in Windows XP
•
Follow the instructions in your Macintosh or UNIX user manual
After configuring TCP/IP, on all computers, perform
one
of the following to verify its
IP address
:
•
Verifying the IP Address in Windows 95, Windows 98, or Windows Me
•
Verifying the IP Address in Windows 2000 or Windows XP
•
