LAN Configuration Page
The LAN configuration page (Figure 31) is used by the system administrator to configure the
500 Series Bridge’s LAN interface.

IP Address:
Internet protocol (IP) address. This address is used by the family of Internet
protocols to uniquely identify this unit on a network.
Subnet Mask:
A subnet allows the flow of network traffic between hosts to be segregated
based on a network configuration.
Gateway IP Address:
The IP address of a computer / router on the current network that acts
as a gateway.
Use VLAN For Management Interfaces:
This controls use of VLAN tags at the management
interfaces (WWW/SNMP/SMTP/SNTP). See Section 8.3.1.3 “LAN Configuration Page – Use
