Disassembly
Removing and Replacing the Front Housing
1.
Remove the battery cover, battery, and SIM as described in the procedures.
2.
Use the disassembly tool to release the 3 housing latches on each side of the
phone as shown in Figure 9
3.
Lift the bottom end of the housing away from the phone.
4.
Insert the disassembly tool into the top end of the housing to disengage the
two latches at the top of the phone. Avoid damaging the two latches at the top
end of the phone.
5.
Carefully lift the front housing away from the phone.
6.
To replace, align the front housing to the phone.
7.
Carefully engage the two latches at the top of the phone.
8.
Gently lower the bottom end of the front housing into position onto the phone.
9.
Press the front housing cover into place, allowing the housing latches on the
side of the phone to snap into position.
10. Replace the SIM, battery, and battery cover as described in the procedures.
