The following refer to specific problems:
Has the handset
been damaged,
dropped, or got
wet?
Dropping your handset, getting it wet, or
using a non-Motorola battery or battery
charger can damage the handset. The
handset’s limited warranty does not cover
liquid damage or damage caused from
using non-Motorola accessories.
Was a non-
Motorola battery
or battery charger
used?
Problem
Solution
My handset was
stolen. To whom
should I report
this?
Report a stolen handset to the police and
to your service provider (the company that
sends you your monthly wireless service
bill).
I forgot my
password.
See page 62.
I pressed the
power key, but
nothing happened.
Be sure to press and hold
O
(power key)
until the screen appears and you hear an
alert. This could take several seconds. If
nothing happens, check that a charged
battery is installed.
See page 21.
The screen says:
Insert USIM Card
or
Check USIM Card
even
though I have
inserted my USIM
card in the
handset.
The USIM card may be incorrectly
inserted. Check the USIM card to make
sure that it is inserted properly.
See page 17.
