Resume Play
To use the resume play feature:
1
Press
SOURCE
to display the
D V D / C D
icon. If no disc is present, the message
N O D I S C
is
displayed.

Press the
OPEN
CLOSE
on the front panel to open the loader and insert a disc.

Press
OPEN
CLOSE
again to close the loader.

To begin playback, press
PLAY
PAUSE
on the front panel, or right arrow play button (

) on
your DCP501 remote control and the play icon
is displayed.

Press
STOP
on the DCP501 front panel or on the DCP501 remote control and
R E S U M E
displays on your TV. The DCP501 stays in this mode until you turn the DCP501 off or want
to resume playback mode as described in the next step. Resume
PLAY
stops a DVD or CD
and allows you to continue playback for an unlimited amount of time unless you turn off the
DCP501.

Press
PLAY
PAUSE
on the DCP501 front panel or right arrow (

) on the remote control to
resume playback.
Press
STOP
on the DCP501 front panel or on DCP501 remote control twice to end playback.
Changing to any non-DVD/CD source during DVD or CD playback has the same effect as
pressing
STOP
once.
Fast Motion Play back (P icture Search)
To scan through the disc when you’re playing it, use the Picture Scan feature.

Press the (

) buttons when you’re playing a disc.

Press the (

) buttons again to increase or decrease speed.

Press
PLAY
PAUSE
on the front panel or the play button

on the remote control any time to
resume normal playback.

You do not hear the sound on a disc when you’re using the picture scan feature.
Ȁ
Playback features aren’t available during the opening credits of a movie.
