Handwriting Script Board
Your device uses the Motorola Wisdom Pen Handwriting Recognition technology. It recognises
handwritten characters and punctuates in a natural and efficient manner. It allows you to enter text
in the language of your choice using either a left or right handed script board.
Tap the
icon and select the Handwriting option.

The upper part of the screen shows the words that are to be edited. Use the stylus to touch the
key-in area at a position where you wish to enter, edit or delete words. The cursor will appear at
that point.
Before entering any information, select and press
ABC
,
abc
or
123
to choose the type of
information you wish to enter.
Use the stylus to enter information in the Handwriting area. When you have finished writing or if
you pause, it will automatically recognise the most similar character and place it at the cursor
position. If an incorrect word results, you can edit it by selecting one of the characters in the Similar
Characters Panel and insert it at the last cursor position.
Press
OK
after you have finished writing to speed up the recognition.
You can make use of the function keys around the Key-In Area to add punctuation marks,
backspace, return, etc.
When you have finished entering information, press
OK
to reflect the changes and to return to the
previous menu. Press
Cancel
if you do not want to save the changes and return to the previous
menu.
Press
to select other options to enter information.
