Ship Lithium
Ship Lithium sets the State of Charge of a Motorola Solutions Lithium-
ion battery to a low value permitted for bulk shipment: approximately
25% of Rated Capacity.
Some Motorola Solutions batteries may be fully discharged before
charging up to the Ship Lithium limit. Such batteries include IMPRES 2
or IMPRES batteries that were never calibration or require a new
calibration and other authentic Motorola Solutions batteries that are not
IMPRES 2 or IMPRES.
Ship Lithium applies only to authentic Motorola Solutions Lithium-ion
batteries (IMPRES 2, IMPRES, or other Motorola Solutions Lithium-ion
batteries). Other batteries (such as Unknown or Motorola Solutions
Nickel or Clamshell batteries) will be faulted.
