Lithium-ion Battery Preparation for Shipment
Note: This section is not applicable for 12-Devices Only charger.
Stand-alone IMPRES 2, IMPRES, or other authentic Motorola
Solutions Lithium-ion batteries may be prepared for Shipment by air
cargo by using an IMPRES 2 Multi-Unit Charger. Other battery types
will be faulted. If the IMPRES 2 Lithium-ion battery is equipped with a
Sleep mode, the charger will put the battery to sleep upon completion
of Ship Lithium charge.
Prepare only STAND-ALONE Motorola Solutions Lithium-ion batteries
for Shipment. REMOVE the battery from the radio or device before
placing it into the charger.
DO NOT STORE a stand-alone battery in the charger. When
preparation for Lithium Shipment is complete, immediately remove the
stand-alone battery from the charger.
Selection of Lithium Shipment supersedes Calibration /
Reconditioning.
