Replacing the Battery
The battery will last for approximately 1 year under
normal circumstances and use. Replace it when it starts
to loose power relatively quickly after being fully charged.
NOTE
•
Use only the battery that is specially designed for
ROOT ZX II Low Speed Handpiece Module.
* This battery can be ordered from your local dealer or
from J. Morita regional office.

Slide the battery cover off the back of Low Speed
Handpiece Module in the direction indicated by the
arrow in the illustration.
2.
Remove the expired battery and disconnect it.
NOTE
•
Do not leave the power on when disconnecting the
battery.
3.
Connect the new battery and place it in Low Speed
Handpiece Module.
4.
Place the battery cover back on Low Speed Handpiece
Module.
NOTE
•
Be careful not to pinch the battery cord when
replacing the cover.
•
Dispose of old battery in an environmentally safe way
and in strict accordance with local regulations.

Storage
* Store the unit where it will not be exposed to x-rays or direct sunlight and where the ambient
temperature range is between -10°C / 14°F and 70°C / 158°F (-10°C / 14°F ~ 45°C / 113°F for
battery); humidity between 8 RH % and 80 RH % (without condensation); and atmospheric
pressure between 700 hPa and 1,060 hPa.
* If the unit has not been used for a long time, make sure it works properly before using.
* Always remove the battery prior to storing or shipping the unit.
* Working-life
The working-life of this unit is 6 years from the date of shipment provided it is regularly and
properly inspected and maintained.
