Local messages
This function allows recording, setting the parameters of and broadcasting your own
messages.
Important: the microphone should be connected and in “off” position when starting
the MP7200®.
3a: Recording one or several messages
Steps 1 + 2 + 3 (page 19)
a) The display shows "Local messages - GO".
Press the central "OK" key to access
this submenu.
b) The display shows "Select message – _".
With the arrow keys

select the zone in which you want to
record the message(s) and the (Local) sound track.
For example, Zone 2 Local 1. "Local of 1 at X" is
defined at the installation and represents the number
of messages that you can record
in a specific zone.
Press the central "OK" key to validate.
c) If no message was recorded on this track
the display shows "No message - [OK]".
If a message is recorded, please refer to
3b
.
If you are ready to record, press "OK".
The display shows "Select action – Save message".
Press "OK" once again.
(If you are not ready, select
"Select action – Do nothing" with the
►
arrow key, and "OK", the display returns to
b
).
d) Otherwise the display shows "Start recording
- [START]". Press the central "OK" key.
If your mike is in the “ON” position, the display
shows "Recording".
If your mike is not in the “ON” position,
the display shows "Use Mike ON/OFF".
When your mike is in the “ON” position,
you can speak in the microphone.
When your message is finished, switch off your
microphone. The message will be played
to listen to, via the internal speaker,
without interrupting the broadcasting in progress.
The display shows "Select action – Record again",
that allows rerecording the message if it does
not suit you.
The display then returns to "Start recording - [START]".

Confirm by pressing "OK".
