SAFETY

Warning:
When

device
and
keep
it

device

in

user
manual.

Check
if
the
voltage
indicated
on
the
device
corresponds
to
the
local
voltage
before
you
connect
the
device.

Always
use
an
earthed
socket.
5.
Check
the
device
regularly
for
damage.
Do
not
use
the
device
in
case
the
power
cord
or
plug
is
damaged,
or
when
any
component
of
the
device
has
been
dropped
or
damaged.
If
the
power
cord
is
damaged,
you
must
have
it
replaced
by
Van
den
Berg
Products
or
a
service
centre
authorized
by
Van
den
Berg
Products
in
order
to
avoid
safety
hazards.

This
device
is
not
intended
for
use
by
children
or
persons
with
reduced
physical,
sensory
or
mental
capabilities,
or
lack
of
experience
and
knowledge,
unless
they
are
supervised
or
given
instruction
regarding
the
use
of
the
device
by
a
person
responsible
for
their
safety.
Careful
supervision
is
required
if
the
device
is
used
near
children,
pets
or
plants.
7.
Do
not
allow
children
to
play
with
the
packaging
for
danger
of
suffocation.
8.
Do
not
leave
the
device
unattended
when
the
plug
is
in
the
socket.
Always
remove
the
plug
from
the
socket
when
you
clean
the
device,
when
the
device
is
not
in
use
or
when
carrying
out
maintenance.
9.
Never
pull
the
power
cord
to
disconnect
the
plug
from
the
socket;
instead,
hold
the
plug
and
gently
pull
to
disconnect.
10.
Do
not
use
the
device
with
an
extension
cord
unless
this
extension
cord
has
been
checked
and
tested
by
a
qualified
mechanic.
11.
Do
not
pull
or
carry
the
device
by
its
power
cord
and
do
not
use
the
power
cord
as
a
handle.
Do
not
pull
the
power
cord
around
sharp
edges
or
corners.
12.
Keep
the
device,
the
plug
and
the
power
cord
away
from
open
flames
and
hot
surfaces.
13.
Always
store

device
indoors.
14.
Never
immerse

and/or
the
power
cord
in
water
or
other
liquids.
15.
Never
pick
up
an
electric
device
if

has
fallen
in

or

If

happens,
immediately
disconnect
the
plug.
16.
Do
not
touch

device
or

17.
Do
not
use
accessories
that
are
not

Berg
Products;
especially
those
accessories
that
have
not
been
supplied
with
the
device.
18.
Never
use
the
device
in
rooms
where
certain
vapours
may
be
present
(thinner,
combustible
materials,
paint
and
lacquers
on
an
oil
basis,
combustible
liquids
and
gases)
as
there
is
a
risk
of
explosion.
19.
Do
not
use
the
device
in
a
humid
environment.
20.
Place
the
device
on
a
stable,
flat,
heat
resistant
surface.
21.
Do
not
put
any
metal
objects,
like
pastry
moulds,
lids
of
saucepans
or
cutlery
on
the
cooking
area.
These
could
become
hot
very
rapidly
and
cause
burns.
22.
Keep
magnetic
objects
(creditcards,
cash
cards,
discs,
watches,
etc.)
away
from
the
device.
23.
Do
not
move
the
device
when
there
is
a
cooking
‐
pot
or
saucepan
placed
on
it.
24.
Make
sure
that
the
ventilator
at
the
bottom
and
ventilation
opening
at
the
back
are
not
blocked.
25.
This
device
is
only
intended
for
domestic
use
and
NOT
for
commercial
or
industrial
use.
