Locating malfunctions
Installation
1.
To install the rear wheel, reverse the removal
procedure.

Prevent the brake caliper from scratching the
wheel during installation.
NOTICE
When installing brake caliper in its correct
position, carefully fi t the brake disc between the
brake pads to avoid damaging the pads.
2.
Make sure that the groove supporting the brake
caliper is positioned in the swingarm anchor.
3.
Adjust the drive chain.

4.
Insert and tighten the rear axle nut.
Torque:
70 N•m (7.0 kgf•m).
5.
After installing the wheel, apply the brake pedal
several times and then recheck the wheel,
making sure it can rotate freely.
Recheck the wheels if the brake drags or if the
wheels does not rotate freely.
If a torque wrench was not used for installation,
see your dealer as soon as possible to verify proper
assembly.
Improper assembly may lead to the loss of braking
capability.
