4. Operation
4.1 Powering on
Before connecting the active speaker systems to a mixer, make sure that
all the active speaker's power switches are in the OFF position and that
the mixer's master faders are at their minimum position. To avoid signal
peaks, first make the connections, then switch on the mixer first and
after the active speakers.
Switch on the system by setting the mains power switch
[2]
to the ON
position.
When switched on, the LED
[C]
will light up. After the system boot the
corresponding LED lights up, indicating the active preset (the same it had
been loaded before switching off).
It may occurs that LEDs
[A]
and
[B]
light up for a while, indicating a
previous "status".
it is now possible to use the system.
If needed, the volume may be
adjusted with the potentiometer
[7]
. If a different preset must be loaded,
follow the procedure described in the following paragraph.
4.2 Loading a preset from control panel
Refer to the picture 'Presets', page 19.
The active preset is indicated by the corresponding LED:
P1
- preset 1 (green) indicates the first factory preset
P2
- preset 2 (green) indicates the second factory preset
P3
- preset 3 (green) indicates the third factory preset
P4
- User preset (green) indicates the fourth factory preset
For each preset sub/sat balancing is available by using the related
command, indicated as
[8]
on page 18.
The following table has a description of the four factory presets:
Each time you press the
[PRESET]
button, the next preset will loaded.
The preset loading takes about a second during which the system is
muted.
