IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

 

When 

using 

an 

elect rical 

appliance, 

basic 

precaut ions  should  alw ays  be  follow ed,  including

To  reduce  t he  risk  of  fire,  elect ric

blow er. Read t he inst ruct ion manual carefully. Learn 
t he blow er’s applicat ions and limit at ions, as w ell as 
t he specific pot ent ial hazards relat ed t o t his blow er. 
Follow ing  t his  rule  w ill  reduce  t he  risk  of  elect ric 
shock, fire, or serious injury.

 

 

This blow er is intended for household use only.

 

 

Do  not  leave  blow er  unattended  w hen  the 
battery  is  inserted. 

Remove  t he  bat t ery  w hen 

t he blow er is not  in use and before servicing.

 

 

Do  not  allow   the  blow er  to  be  used  as  a  toy. 

Close  at t ent ion  is  necessary  w hen  used  by  or 
near children.

 

 

Use only as described in this manual. Use only 
manufacturer’s recommended attachments.

 

 

Do  not  handle  the  charger,  including  charger 
plug, or charger terminals w ith w et hands.

 

 

Do not put any object into any openings. Do not 
use  w ith  any  opening  blocked;  keep  openings 
free  of  dust,  lint,  hair,  and  anything  that  may 
reduce air flow .

 

 

Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts 
of body aw ay from openings and moving parts. 

Loose clot hes, jew elry, or long hair can be draw n 
int o air vent s.

 

 

Secure  long  hair  above  shoulder  level  to 
prevent entanglement in moving parts.

 

 

Use extra care w hen cleaning on stairs.

 

 

If  the  blow er  is  not  w orking  as  it  should,  has 
been  dropped,  damaged,  left  outdoors,  or 
dropped into w ater, return it to a service center.

 

 

Do

atmospheres,  such  as  in  the  presence  of 
flammable  liquids,  gases,  or  dust. 

Blow ers

Use  only  the  charger  supplied  by  the 
manufacturer to recharge.

 

 

Do not charge the battery pack outdoors.

 

 

Do not charge the battery pack in rain or in w et 
locations.

 

 

Use  the  battery-operated  blow er  only  w ith 
specifically designated battery pack. 

Use of any 

ot her bat t eries may creat e a risk of fire.

 

 

W hen battery pack is not in use, keep it aw ay 
from other metal objects, like paper clips, coins, 
keys, nails, screw s or other small metal objects, 
that can make a connection from one terminal 
to  another.  Shorting  the  battery  terminals 
together may cause burns or a fire.

 

 

Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected 
from  the  battery;  avoid  contact. 

If  cont act  

accident ally  occurs,  flush  w it h  w at er.  If  liquid 
cont act s  eyes,  addit ionally  seek  medical  help. 
Liquid  eject ed  from  t he  bat t ery  may  cause 
irrit at ion or burns.

 

 

Follow   all  charging  instructions  and  do  not 
charge the battery pack or appliance outside of 
the  temperature  range  specified  in  the 
instructions.

 

Charging

damage t he bat t ery and increase t he risk of fire.

 

 

Stay  alert,  w atch  w hat  you  are  doing  and  use 
common  sense  w hen  operating  a  pow er 
blow er.  Do  not  use  the  blow er  w hile  tired, 
upset, or under the influence of drugs, alcohol, 
or  medication. 

A  moment   of  inat t ent ion  w hile 

operat ing blow ers may result  in serious personal 
injury.

 

 

Avoid  accidental  starting.  Be  sure  that  the 
sw itch  is  in  the  locked  or  off  position  before 
inserting  the  battery  pack.

hard hat , or hearing prot ect ion must  be used for 
appropriat e condit ions.

 

 

Alw ays  w ear  eye  protection  w ith  side  shields 
marked to comply w ith ANSI Z87.1 along w ith 
hearing  protection  w hen  operating  this 
equipment.

  Everyday  glasses  have  only  impact  

resist ant   lenses.  They  are  NOT  safet y  glasses. 
Follow ing  t his  rule  w ill  reduce  t he  risk  of  eye 
injury.

 

 

Do not use on a ladder, rooftop, tree, or other 
unstable  support. 

St able  foot ing  on  a  solid 

surface  enables  bet t er  cont rol  of  t he  blow er  in 
unexpect ed sit uat ions.

 

 

Alw ays  t ake  care  of  your  feet ,  children,  or  pet s 
around  you  w hen  removing  t he  bat t ery  pack 
from  blow er. 

Serious  injury  could  result  if  the 

battery  pack  falls.  NEVER  remove  the  battery 
pack w hen in a high position.

 

 

Do not use the blow er if sw itch does not turn it 
on  or  off.
