Important !
Read the full user manual before using your new ramp for the first time.
1.
Usage:
1.1.
General:
•
The Mobiramp Alu series mobile ramps are designed to bridge heights and
steps for wheelchair users and people with reduced mobility.
•
Use the ramp only for the above purposes
1.2.
Before the first usage:
•
Carefully remove the packaging. All packaging material is recyclable.
•
If the packaging shows damage, carefully check the ramp for possible
damage. If damage is found, DO NOT use the ramp until the manufacturer has
given permission.
•
Attach the supplied handles to the ramp using the supplied bolts (only for
types MRS/TBL/MRL
–
Look at mounting drawings).
•
Attach the side supports to the ramp using the supplied bolts (only for types
MRL - Look at mounting drawings).
1.3.
Before each usage:
•
Carefully remove any impurities such as sand, ice, snow, oil or other products
that may affect the non-slip properties of the slope surface.
•
Check the ramp for any damage that may reduce its load-bearing capacity. Do
not use the ramp if the supporting structure is damaged.
•
The ramp is stored double folded and has a Velcro fastener to ensure this
(only for type MRS).
1.4.
During the usage:
•
Lift the ramp with the handle attached to the side (only for types
MRS/TBL/MRL).
•

het hoogste punt van de hellingbaan wanneer deze klaar is voor gebruik.
•
Always lay the ramp with the non-slip side facing up.
•
Make sure that the beginning and end of the ramp always have full length
contact with the surface.
•
Type TBS:
o
Fold the ramp open.
o
Put the ramp so that the rubber hinge lies nicely in the middle of the
small threshold crossing.
•
Type MRS:
o
Put the ramp with the curved end on the edge of the threshold. Make
sure that the curved end of the ramp is sufficiently over the threshold to
avoid sliding.
o
Loosen the Velcro(s) on the side of the ramp. The Velcro is only opened
when the ramp is on the ground (only for type MRS).
o
Fold the ramp open.
•
Type TBL:
o
Put the ramp just before the threshold crossing.
o
Adjust the height of the ramp by turning the side legs.
o
Fold the ramp flap at the TOP of the ramp open. Make sure that the
ramp flap is put sufficiently over the threshold and is fully supported by
the surface on the other side of the threshold crossing.
•
Type MRL:
o
Fold the ramp open while holding both handles.
o
Put the ramp with the curved end on the edge of the threshold. Make
sure that the curved end of the ramp is sufficiently over the threshold to
avoid sliding.
•
Carefully check that the ramp is correctly positioned.
1.5.
After de usage:
•
Carefully remove any impurities such as sand, ice, snow, oil or other products
that may affect the non-slip properties of the slope surface.
•
Type TBS:
o
Fold the ramp to its closed position.
