ABI controller for the main motor
The main motor is controlled by a frequency controller.
Start Main motor
-
After the start button is pressed the MSW1 makes the output X3-1 (DL32) “Start Main Motor = 1”.
and the motor start to run.
Analog Out
-
From the MSW1 an analog Speed voltage is placed on the connections X14-1 and X14-2. See
fig. 21 (1)
-
Depending on the voltage on X14 the speed is set. (9,2V = Max speed setting)
-
The max speed is adjusted by a potentiometer on the MSW1 board. See fig. 21(2).
NOTE
a
Max speed must be set to 36k eggs/hour = 100 strokes in 60 sec.
Feedback signals to MSW1
-
As the motor runs, the encoder creates encoder pulses who are calculated into HiRes Pulses.
-
Encoder pulse A Input X9-3 (DL3).
-
Encoder pulse B Input X9-5 (DL4).
-
Chain Prox Input X9-13 (DL6).
