PRECAUTIONS FOR USE OF THE INVERTER
3.1.3
Built-in EMC filter
This inverter is equipped with a built-in EMC filter (capacitive filter) and a common mode choke.
These filters are effective in reducing air-propagated noise on the input side of the inverter.
To enable the EMC filter, fit the EMC filter ON/OFF connector to the ON position. The EMC filter is initially set to the "enabled"
(ON) position.
The input side common mode choke, which is built in the inverter, is always enabled regardless of the EMC filter ON/OFF
connector setting.
NOTE
• Do not change the initially set ON (enabled) position of the EMC filter ON/OFF connector. The Class C2 compatibility
condition is not satisfied with the EMC filter OFF.
• The FR-F846-00250(11K)-L2 to FR-F846-00470(22K)-L2 are not provided with the EMC filter ON/OFF connector. The EMC
filter is always ON.
Warning
While power is ON or when the inverter is running, do not open the front cover. Otherwise you may
get an electric shock.
