Ground the shield with a metal P clip or U clip. For the reasons why the P clip or U clip is specified for grounding, refer to
the following.

Directly ground the shield. It is not recommended to solder the wire to the braided wire (shield) for grounding.

When not using a shielded cable for the servo motor power cable, route the cable through a metal conduit.

Ground the servo motor power cable on the cabinet side with the conduit connector and cabinet side wall. (Remove paint
from the side wall of the cabinet.)

When grounding the servo motor power cable connected to the servo motor, use the cable clamp to ground the conduit
connector as shown below.

The cable length should be 50 m or less.
