Be careful when inserting or removing SIMMs.
Forcing a SIMM in or out of a socket can damage
the socket.

Installing SIMMs
1.
Slip a SIMM at a 45
o
angle into a socket with the component side facing
down.
NOTE:
Always install SIMMs from Bank 0.
2.
Gently press the SIMM up until the pegs of the socket slip into the holes
on the SIMM and the holding clips lock the SIMM into position.
NOTE:
The SIMM should be at 90
o
angle when installed.
