Stopping the Engine
Set the engine to idling by releasing the throttle lever.
Set the ignition switch to the off position ‘’O’’ (STOP).
After the engine has stopped, wait at least 30 seconds
before attempting to restart.
If the engine fails to stop, set the choke lever to the on
position to stall the engine; do not use the machine until
the ignition switch is repaired.
Running In
During the first ten hours of work, avoid running the engine at maximum speed for a prolonged
period until all the components have bedded in, after the engine has been run in, it will reach its
maximum power.
IMPORTANT
After every use, check that all nuts bolts and screws are securely fastened and tighten if necessary.
Rear Handle
To reduce fatigue when trimming hedges, the handle can be swivelled 90° to the left or right.
Do not use the throttle during this operation!
Proceed
as
follows:
Free the rear handle by pressing the
locking
lever
(a).
Turn the rear handle (b) until the locking
lever
clicks
into
place.
When the handle is locked in its new
position you can apply the throttle (c).
