WARNINGS
• The RIGIDFIX CURVE Cross Pin System
Instruments are designed only for use with the
RIGIDFIX CURVE Cross Pin System.
• Do not attempt clinical use of the RIGIDFIX
CURVE CROSS PIN System before reviewing
the instructions for use, surgical technique and
rehearsing the procedure in a skills laboratory.
Failure to follow the Instructions for Use and Surgical
Technique could result in cross pin protrusion
through the lateral femoral cortex and potentially
affect patient safety.
• Inspect all instruments for damage before use.
Do not attempt to repair.
• Do not use the RIGIDFIX CURVE Cross Pin System
with bone-tendon-bone grafts.
• The RIGIDFIX CURVE Cross Pin System
instruments are designed for use with inside-out
femoral drilling technique only. Do not use outside-in
drilling method.
• Discard opened and unused RIGIDFIX
®
CURVE
Cross Pins, Sleeves, Interlocking Trocar, Bone
Gauge Pin, and Pusher Rod.
PRECAUTIONS
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment and
attire when cleaning and sterilizing soiled surgical
instruments.
• Follow the instructions and warnings issued by the
suppliers of any cleaning and disinfection agents
and equipment used.
