The meter configuration is defined in the system.conf configuration file on
the PresControl. The meter names are defined in a pairnames section inside
the channel config section (the section with field rate and frame rate).
An example would be:
pairnames
{
name1 = “English 5.1”
name2 = “Portuguese”
name3 = “German”
name4 = “Spanish”
name5 = “French”
name6 = “Mono L”
}
Having defined the names that can be used in pairnames sections of the
configuration file the use of these names needs to be defined in a
meter_profile section within the channel config section (the section with field
rate and frame rate). There is one meter profile for each of the audio buttons.
This is what selects which meter labels are displayed when you select each
audio button.
An example of the setting of the meter_profile sections is:
