– Double click on the “DCIM/100MEDIA” folder to find the recorded
videos and images.
– You can copy & paste or drag & drop your video and photo files to
a folder on your computer.
Notes:
– We suggest that you save your files to your computer as soon as
possible after recording. You can also use a card reader that plugs
into your computer’s USB slot.
– If you try to connect your camera with the USB cable to the
computer while the camera is recording, your camera will crash.
This could cause memory card corruption and loss of your files.
5. TV-out function
– Connect the camera to a TV via an AV cable and view the images
directly as seen by the camera. You can take photos, record videos,
make settings and view the files on the SD card - the same functions
that are available when operating the camera in Preview Test Mode.
Troubleshooting
Please check the following if your MINOX DTC 300 is not functioning properly.
Do not attempt under any circumstances to repair the camera yourself.
The Camera will not turn on
– Ensure that the battery capacity is not low or exhausted.
– Remove the batteries and insert fresh batteries.
The Camera turns off automatically
– When the battery capacity is low or exhausted, the camera will turn
off automatically. Insert fresh batteries for outdoor use or connect an
AC adaptor for indoor use.
– If the memory of the SD card is full, the camera will turn off
automatically. Please transfer videos and images to your computer or
delete some files while in Replay Mode.
Videos are choppy or jumpy when played on a computer
– Ensure that the computer system requirements are met.
– Ensure that the AVI video format can be played on your computer.
– Try to use a class 6 SD card or higher.
Videos do not play on the TV
– Ensure that the supplied AV cable is properly connected.
– Ensure that the TV is set to the correct input mode.
– Ensure that TV output signal (NTSC or PAL) is properly set.
The camera does not record videos
– If the SD memory card is full, transfer video clips and images to your
computer or delete some files while in Replay Mode.
– The memory card may not be correctly formatted. Format the memory
card again or use a new card.
Corrupt or unusable card
– Transfer the videos and photos to your computer and format the card.
Try to use a class 6 SD card or higher.
– Memory of card is full, or files are unrecognized. Transfer the videos
and photos to your computer or use a new card.
Camera will not turn off
– If a malfunction occurs, remove all the batteries and insert them again,
or new batteries to reset the camera.
