Important safety precautions
Safety Warnings:
To use this camera safely, please read and follow these instructions
carefully before use.
– Please remove the batteries if low on power in case the camera
becomes damaged caused by battery leakage.
– Do not place the camera near open flames such as candles.
– Keep the camera and PIR clean and never store it close to a heat source
or in overly soiled places.
– Press the camera’s buttons gently – pressing them too hard can
damage the camera.
– Do not subject the camera to harsh impacts. Dropping the camera may
result in damage and thus void the warranty.
– Do not attempt to dismantle or repair this unit by yourself; there are no
user-serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to MINOX only.
– Use a slightly dampened lint-free cloth to clean the lens, PIR sensor,
IR flash and body of the camera. Do not dismantle the camera or use
liquid or aerosol cleaners to clean the device.
– Before inserting or removing the memory card, make sure that your
hands, the camera, and the memory card are completely dry.
– Make sure that no foreign matter such as sand, hair or dirt gets inside
the camera body.
– Protect the LCD display and lens from scratches. Even a small scratch
may affect the quality of the images.
– If dirt or sand gets on the rubber seal, display or lens, wipe the area
carefully with a soft cloth that will not leave behind any fibers.
– Do not use any sharp-edged devices to clean the seal as this may
damage it and cause internal damage to the camera due to moisture.
