3-9. Paper Exit

3-9-1. Overview

- The Main Motor (M1) transmits drive to the Paper Exit Roller via the gears. The paper

is discharged onto the tray with the printed side facing down.

3-9-2. Jog Tray Function (4100GN only)

- The jog tray function enables the Paper Exit Roller to slide to the left and right so that

paper is sorted and discharged at different positions on the tray while printing. 

- The original discharging position when not using the jog tray function is regarded as jog

position 1.

- The position where paper is discharged with the Paper Exit Roller changed by the jog

tray function is regarded as jog position 2.
