5.2. OPERATION
5.2.1. BASIC OPERATION
Position the Baby unit at least one meter from your baby. Never place the baby
unit inside the baby’s bed or playpen.
1. To turn the baby unit on, press and hold the power button (9) for 2 seconds.
The power LED will steadily turn red (10).
2. To turn on the parent unit, slide the power button (13) to the ‘up’ position. The
power LED will steadily turn red and the LCD display (11) will turn on.
3. Both baby unit and parent unit will light up in green on the link LED (10 for
baby unit and 11 for parent unit) when connection has been established.
4. On the baby unit, adjust the VOX sensitivity of the baby unit to the level as
desired (rotary switch button 3).
5. On the parent unit adjust the volume to the level as desired (3 and 9 buttons).
Note: When the battery is low, the power LED (10 on the baby unit and 11 on the
parent unit) will change from green to red an it flashes slowly.
Your baby monitor can transmit a maximum distance of 150 meters depending
on the VOX sensitivity level you select.
The parent unit can always receive audio/video from baby monitor as long as
the link LEDs in both units (10 for baby unit and 11 for parent unit) are green.
5.2.1.1. TO TURN OFF THE UNITS
• To switch off the baby unit, press and hold the power button (9) for 2 seconds.
The power green LED will turn off (10).
• To switch off the parent unit, slide the power button (13) to down position. The
green LED and LCD display will turn off (11).
5.2.1.2. PAIRING THE UNITS
The baby monitor has been paired in the factory, however if connection cannot
be established automatically, to establish the link: on the baby unit, press and
hold up/link button (8) and at the same time, on the parent unit press and hold
the up button (3). By pressing these two buttons at the same time you will see
that on the parent unit the power/link LED (11) is red and flashing and on the
baby unit the power/link LED (10) is green and flashing. Once the link has been
established on the baby unit, the green power/link LED (10) will stop flashing
and the power/link LED (11) will gradually go green on the parent unit. Then
release both buttons for the monitoring to start.
