5. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
5.1. BEFORE USE: CONNECTION OF POWER SUPPLY AND USING
THE BATTERIES
Parent unit:
Installing batteries to the parent unit
1. Remove the battery cover by sliding down the cover.
2. Insert Li-ion Rechargeable Battery by following the marking polarities inside
the battery compartment.
3. Replace the battery cover by sliding up the cover.
Caution: Risk of explosion if battery is replaced by an incorrect type. Please
dispose of used batteries according to instructions.
Charging the batteries using charger stand.
1. Place the parent unit in charger stand (6). Connect the adaptor lead to the
adaptor connector socket. Use only the supplied adaptor.
2. Plug the adaptor as specified to the power voltage supply on the unit, then
switch on the mains power.
Charging time of the battery = 6 hours.
Baby unit:
Installing batteries to the baby monitor
1. Remove the battery cover by sliding down the cover.
2. Insert three 1.5V x AAA Alkaline batteries (not included) by following the
marking polarities inside the battery compartment.
3. Replace the battery cover by sliding up the cover.
Note: Both baby monitor and parent unit has a built in battery power save feature
to make the batteries last longer. But when you are not using both units it is
recommended to switch them off to save battery power.
Direct charging the baby unit using adaptor charger
1. Locate the charge socket at the back side of the baby unit.
2. Connect the adaptor lead to the adaptor connector socket (13). Use only the
supplied On Real adaptor.
3. Plug the mains adaptor as specified to the power voltage supply on the unit,
then switch on the then switch on the mains power.
Warning: Strangulation hazard - keep cord out of baby’s reach. NEVER place a
baby unit within 3 feet of the crib. Never use extension cords with AC adapters.
Only use the AC adapters provided.
