5.2 Switching on the device
Before switching on the remote display for the irst time, the installation must be
complete.
Check:
-
whether the power connection (at 12 V intrinsically safely fed) is correct and
-
whether all connections are made correctly.
5.2.1
Automatic tests
After connecting the power supply there is a display test:
-
All elements are displayed for 2 seconds.
-
Then all elements are not displayed for 2 seconds.
At the same time, an internal function test is performed. As soon as this is complete with
no errors detected, the type of device is displayed for a few seconds.
