Service Manual Combics

Opening Combics Indicators

Important note!

3

  An insulating transformer must be installed upstream when working on an 

opened Combics indicator under power.

t

  Ten nuts (see left image) must be removed to open the Combics indicator.

Replacing the Seal 

Important!

h

 

 After carrying out any repair, the seal between the front plate and the housing 
must be checked visually for damage and replaced if necessary. 
After closing, a special test procedure is used to check the degree of protection 
for devices that guarantee an IP degree of protection.

 Replace a defective seal.

 The seal must be seated properly and should not be cracked.
