ROLL F LEAF
Loading a leaf sheet
1) Pass a leaf sheet under the platen.
Tilt the set lever toward you, raise the pinch
rollers and adjust the rightmost end of the leaf
of sheet to the scales mounted on the front and
rear of the device.
2) Move the pinch rollers according to the
sheet width.
Refer to page 2.15 for the pinch rollers.
3) Tilt the sheet set lever away from you
and lower the pinch rollers.
The display shown on the display panel will
change as illustrated below.
4) Press the or key to select
“LEAF.”
In the case where the media is loaded from the
rear:
In the case where the media is loaded from the
front:
The device performs the sheet detection (see
page 2.25), then performs a dummy cutting (see
page 3.28).
* The device is not able to detect a leaf
sheet of which length is 3 m or more.
