Never suck up into the machine any in
fl
ammable or explosive solvents, or
liquids like petrol, oil, alcohol, thinners, or small particles (such as metal
fi
lings or ash) that may be hotter than 60°C - otherwise there is danger of
explosion or
fi
re!
WARNING
If foam or liquid escapes from the machine, switch o
ff
immediately.
You are not allowed to use the appliance in the vicinity of in
fl
ammable
gases or substances.

with opening blocked. Keep openings free of dust, lint, hair, and anything
else that could re du ce the
fl
ow of air.
Warning!
To reduce the risk of
fi
re, personal injury, and product damage
due to a short circuit, never immerse your tool, battery pack or charger in
fl
uid or allow a
fl
uid to
fl
ow inside them. Corrosive or conductive
fl
uids,
such as seawater, certain industrial chemicals, and bleach or bleach
containing products, etc., can cause a short circuit.
Never break open battery packs and chargers and store only in dry
rooms. Keep dry at all times.
Use only System M12 chargers for charging System M12 battery packs.
Do not use battery packs from other systems.
Before starting work, the operating sta
ff
must be informed on and trained
within:
• use of the machine
• risks associated with the material to be picked up
• safe disposal of the picked up material
The following materials must not be picked up by the machine:
• hazardous dusts which belong to the classes M and H
• hot materials (burning cigarettes, hot ash, etc.)
•
fl
ammable, explosive, aggressive liquids (e.g. petrol, solvents, acids,
alkalis, etc.)
•
fl
ammable, explosive dust (e.g. magnesium or aluminium dust, etc.)
For Dust Class L machines (with type designation -0L, -2L) following
applies:
• The appliance is suitable for picking up dry, non-
fl
ammable dust and
liquids, hazardous dusts with
OEL
1)
value > 1 mg/m³.
• Dust Class L (IEC 60335-2-69).
• The dusts which belong to this class have OEL
1)
values > 1 mg/m³.
• For machines intended for the Dust Class L, the
fi
lter material is tested.
The maximum degree of permeability is 1% and there is no special
requirement for disposal.
• For dust extractors, ensure adequate air change rate L, when the
exhaust air is returned to the room. Observe national regulations before
use.
Besides the operating instructions and the binding accident prevention
regulations valid in the country of use, observe recognised regulations for
safety and proper use.
READ AND FOLLOW ALL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS.
Any other use is considered as improper use. The manufacturer accepts
no liability for any damage resulting from such use. The risk for such use
is borne solely by the user. Proper use also includes proper operation,
servicing and repairs as speci
fi
ed by the manufacturer.
