REQUEST RELAY CONFIGURATION
A Request Relay Configuration message directs the Model IR-200 to transmit information on its four setpoint
relays. The following information is transmitted for each relay:

Example: The message string “M0101030005” will request a unit with address “01” to send a relay
configuration message.
REQUEST TREND DATA
A request Trend Data message directs the Model IR-200 to transmit a string of data equal to the interface
level value over the past x hours, where x is 3, 6, 12, or 24. The IR-200 will always respond with 180 data
points, so the resolution varies with the length of time requested.
The request message is formatted as follows:

$00 = 1 minute resolution (3 hours)
$01 = 2 minute resolution (6 hours)
$02 = 4 minute resolution (12 hours)
$03 = 8 minute resolution (24 hours)

Example: A message string “M070204030010” will request a unit answering to address “07” to transmit the
previous 24 hours worth of trend data at a resolution of 8 minutes.
REQUEST PROGRAM PARAMETER VALUE
This message instructs the Model IR-200 to report the current value of a selected program parameter. The
values must be requested by parameter number. The table in Program Parameter Numbers on page 42
relates the parameter number to the parameter name. Program parameter descriptions and legal values are
described in the main section of the Model IR-200 operator’s manual. The message is formatted as follows:

Example: If the host computer would like to request the value of the GAIN CONTROL parameter (parameter
number 11 or 0B hexadecimal) from analyzer number 1, then the host should transmit the ASCII string
“M0102050B0013”.
