Clean machine
With frequent washing at low temperat-
ures there is a danger of a build-up of
bacteria in the washer-dryer.
Cleaning the washer-dryer will signific-
antly reduce bacteria, mould and
biofilm and prevent the build-up of un-
pleasant odours.
Start the
Clean machine
programme at
the latest when the
Hygiene info
mes-
sage appears in the display.
Tip:
Optimum results can be achieved
by using Miele machine cleaner. Altern-
atively, a multi-purpose detergent can
be used.
Starting the programme
Select

.
Dispense the washing machine
cleaner or multi-purpose detergent
directly in the drum.
Do
not
load any laundry. The drum
must be empty for the cleaning pro-
cess.

Start/Stop
sensor control.

Rinse out fluff
During drying, fluff develops and can
collect in the drum and suds container.
You can rinse out fluff before the ma-
chine is used again so that this fluff
(e.g. from dark coloured textiles) cannot
be deposited on other items (e.g. light
coloured textiles) in the next load or
cause a blockage in the washer-dryer.
The
Rinse out fluff programme
must
not be used for rinsing laundry. En-
sure there are no items of laundry in
the drum before starting the pro-
gramme.
Starting the programme

Do not use detergent.
Touch the
Start/Stop
sensor.
Any fluff will be rinsed away within a
few minutes.
If necessary wipe any remaining fluff
off the door sealing ring and door
glass.
Switch the washer-dryer off.
