Please check all possible
causes described below.
The lint filter is blocked.
– Remove any lint.
The filter housing is blocked
with e.g. lint and hair.
– Clean the filter housing.
– The cover in the door
opening can be
removed to facilitate the
cleaning of the filter
housing below.
The vent ducting or the
ventilation outlet is blocked
with e.g. lint or hair.
– Check all parts of the
vent ducting system on
a regular basis (e.g.
wall pipe, external grille,
bends in the ducting
etc.) and clean them if
necessary.
Ventilation to the dryer is
insufficient (e.g. because it
is installed in a room which
is too small).
Open a door or window
while the dryer is in
operation for increased air
flow.
The laundry has not been
spun sufficiently.
Make sure that your
laundry is thoroughly spun
at the appropriate spin
speed in the
washer-extractor.
The tumble dryer has been
overloaded.
Do not exceed the
maximum load for the
program selected.
Metallic components, e.g.
zippers, have prevented the
dryer from registering the
correct moisture level in the
laundry.
– Open zippers next time.
If the problem occurs
again, dry garments with
long zippers using the Hot
air program (timed drying).
