Cleaning the filters in the wash
cabinet
The flat filter in the wash cabinet and
the circulation pump filters prevent
coarse soiling getting into the
circulation system.
,
The machine must not be used
without all the filters in place.
,
Watch out for glass splinters,
needles etc. on the flat filter in the
wash cabinet. Danger of injury.
Cleaning the flat filter
The flat filter can become clogged with
residual soiling. It must therefore be
cleaned at least once a day.
If heavy soiling is visible at the end of a
programme cycle the flat filter must be
cleaned before starting the next
programme.
Any visible residues remaining on the
flat filter after manual cleaning can be
removed by processing in the
washer-disinfector. The exact method
depends on the layout of the mobile
unit. Contact Miele for further advice.
^
Take hold of the flat filter by the
handles to remove it.
Do not pull it out by the ventilation
tubes as this can cause them to
bend and then not function
correctly.
^
Soiling and deposits should be
rinsed off under running water. If
necessary a suitable soft brush can
be used.
^
Then clean the flat filter using
compressed air from the underside.
^
Replace the flat filter.
The flat filter must be replaced
horizontally so that it forms a flush
seal with the wash cabinet.
^
Manually rotate the spray arm in the
bottom of the wash cabinet to make
sure it rotates freely.
