Cleaning the non-return valve
and drain pump
If you find that water has not been
pumped away at the end of a program,
the drain pump or non-return valve may
be blocked. You can remove the
blockage yourself.

Remove the filter combination from
the wash cabinet.

Flip the fastening clamp to the side.

Pull the non-return valve up and out
and rinse it under running water.

Caution: Use proper eye
protection when removing the
non-return valve.
The drain pump is located beneath the
non-return valve (see arrow).

Before putting the non-return valve
back into place, check that the drain
pump is not blocked.

Carefully put the non-return valve
back into place and close the
fastening clamp.
For safety reasons, the load should
be washed again.
