Notes on connecting to the
mains water supply
Connection to the mains water
supply should only be carried out by
a qualified and competent person.
Disconnect the appliance from the
mains electricity supply before
connecting it to the mains water
supply.
Close the stopcock before
connecting the water intake hose to
the appliance.
The water quality must conform to
the requirements for drinking water
in the country the appliance is being
installed in.
The connection to the household
water supply must conform to the
requirements for the country the
appliance is being installed in.
All appliances, and any devices
used for supplying water to the
appliance, must conform to the
appropriate national regulations.
– This appliance meets the
requirements of IEC 61770 and
EN 61770.
– The water pressure (flow rate) must
be between 1.7 and 5.5 bar.

Warning
Water pressure which is too high
can cause damage to the
appliance.
Install a pressure regulator if the
water pressure in the pipes exceeds
5.5 bar.
– The stainless steel hose supplied is
3 m long and must not be lengthened.
A faulty stainless steel hose must
only be replaced by a genuine Miele
replacement hose (available from
Miele). Make sure that the water hose
is suitable for food use.
– A stopcock must be provided
between the stainless steel hose and
the household water supply to
ensure that the water supply can be
disconnected if necessary.
