For the ice/water dispenser to
operate, it must be connected to the
mains water supply (see "Mains
water connection").
Use a suitable glass or jug to
dispense water and ice cubes into.
Danger of glass splinters.
Do not hold your hand under the
dispenser spout. Danger of injury!
Using the ice/water dispenser
for the first time
Before it is used for the first time, the
ice/water dispenser pipework must
be rinsed through and filled with
water.

Open the appliance door.

Touch the access sensor so that it is
highlighted in yellow.
^
Touch the On/Off sensor for the
ice/water dispenser so that it is
highlighted in yellow.
^
Close the appliance door.
After opening and closing the
appliance door, it may take a few
seconds before the ice/water
dispenser can be used again.
The sensor for chilled water will flash
white in the ice/water dispenser control
panel.
^
Place a large container on the drip
tray cover.
^
Touch the sensor for chilled water
until it flashes yellow.
^
Touch and keep your finger on the
sensor for chilled water again.
This will activate the rinsing function
and approx. 6 litres of water will now be
pumped through the pipework.
You can interrupt the rinsing process at
any time to allow you to empty the
container by taking your finger off the
sensor for chilled water.
The sensor will continue to flash yellow
while you empty the container.
A beep will sound when the rinsing
process is complete and the sensors in
the ice/water dispenser control panel
will now be highlighted in white.
The ice/water dispenser is now ready
for use.
